MLB 2013 Season

Sad. Royals are in a playoff chase and their stadium is practically empty.

Dodgers will begin resting their regulars on a regular basis for the rest of the season

Today, no Hanley, Puig, Ellis, or Uribe

Tomorrow, no Ethier, Gonzalez, or Crawford

Justice is served after an absolutely BRUTAL call by the third base umpire.......2-1 Red Sox, bottom of 5th

Yep it just feels like a big game. It's been a pitchers duel so far. Right as I say that Scherzer plunks a guy to put 2 on with 1 out. Bring on the hoodies, post season and football. It's officially fall in my book and it actually felt like it outside today.

We are probably watching the preview of what will be happening in October for the ALCS.

Could very well be, but so much has to align for that to happen. It could just as easily be an Athletics-Rays ALCS or an Orioles-Rangers ALCS, you just never know.

Don't you be throwing around ALCS scenarios that don't include the Tigers. This is our year!

LMAO at the Tigers fan screwing around during the interview of the pizza tosser fan on NESN during the 8th inning.

Well, you're definitely the favorites to represent the AL in the World Series.......there's no denying that.

And the favorites almost never seen to meet up in the World Series. Anyone can get hot in the postseason and win it all. I was born in 1987 so I have never seen them win a World Series. They have gotten there a couple times in my life time but 1984 was their last championship. They need to do it now though. Cabrera, Verlander, and Prince are all about the same age and will probably decline together. Hopefully Verlander hasn't already started. I don't believe he has but they need to get it done before its too late.

Yep. Usually the favorites and the best teams don't go. It is often the team that happens to be hot and/or lucky at the right time.

Last years Giants were an example of such. The Tigers were a much better team, as we're most of the NL teams they faced in the playoffs.

Funny how much faster that "too late" arrives in this post-steroids era.
