MLB 2013 Season

Good choice. I'd go with Koji Uehara.

It's so nice to have a closer who doesn't cause anxiety attacks.

I think you're right.....Koji is the Sox MVP. With all the season ending injuries that crippled the Sox bullpen, Koji stabilized the closer's role.

After winning 69 games total last season, the Red Sox are currently 82-56 and have the best record in the AL.

Dodgers now have the second best record in baseball, just behind the Braves. And have their biggest lead of the season, 11.5 games up.

I remember when these three teams used to be in the same division.

I will go out on a limb and predict the Dodgers will get swept by the Rockies.

The Dodgers are using three starters that depend heavily on breaking balls, which the altitude will affect drastically.

Kershaw is pitching one of the worst games of his carrier and the worst game of the year.

It's really bad when a bad pitcher and a B lineup is beating Kershaw and his A lineup.

At least Clayton is getting runs support today!!! 8 to 5 now.

I was just going to post this.

Not only has Kershaw given up the mist runs in a game in over 2 years and the must runs in an inning in over a year, the Dodgers have also scored the most runs for him all year.

They go from down by two to up by three.

I have a feeling both teams are not done scoring.

Kershaw is done for the day. Only 5 innings pitched and 5 ER. That is an ERA of 9 for the game.

You know how many 1-0 games Kershaw lost this year? Now he may steel a win on his worst pitching performance of the year.

You said the same thing his last time out ...

Not the exact last time out. But the last time I said this it was one of his worst. Now this is his worst.

The most runs he's given up in a game this year was 4. Today he gave up 3 runs in the first inning alone and 5 in the game. This is also his shortest outing of the year.

The main problem was altitude more than anything. He was hitting his spots and getting strikes. His slider and curveball did not have the same bite or break though. He was hanging them and they were hitting them.
