MLB 2012 Postseason

As completely listless as the Yankees are, you still have to pad your lead no matter what. Also, seems like the Yankees are being more aggressive and making contact with the ball. Hell, a fly out would be great considering all the strikeouts the Yankees have had this ALCS.

Pitch count may not matter tonight. Verlander is at 100 but if the score stays the same through 8 I see him coming out for the 9th regardless.

Surprisingly Verlander has only 3 K's tonight so far...

I'm not sure why TBS continues to show the Fox Pitch box, since day one it's been OFF to the right hand side, you'd think they would adjust thier parameters ...

Theres no way all the pitchers are throwing everything outside on left handed batters and they are all getting called the same regardless of ump or hitter.

Well. Until that point no Yankee had gotten past first base. Great game for Verlander! Now let's get these last 3 outs.

Here comes Coke ...

Last time out to the mound earlier, Leyland must have told JV that 130 pitches was gonna be it.

I wanted to see him stay out there but all the foul balls were killing him. It looked like he was gonna need about 145 to finish the inning. It was probably the right move to pull him with Ichiro already having 2 hits.

I agree ...
Talk about a seeing eye base hit for Tex , wow, just got by everybody.

2 on 2 out, raining harder and Ibanez is up, the last guy you want to see.

Whew! The 9th sure felt a whole lot different than the rest of the game. He made it more interesting that time but Coke got the job done again. Good for him.

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
