MLB 2012 Postseason

Whew! The 9th sure felt a whole lot different than the rest of the game. He made it more interesting that time but Coke got the job done again. Good for him.

Yankees worked the count with Coke in there, making it much more difficult, 2 hits given up at least no more runs.

Alright time for Scherzer to complete the sweep tomorrow. We have 2 chances to close it out without going back to NY.

I hope so. The Tigers are playing well while the Yankees are not. We may as well keep the pedal to the metal and not crack open the door of opportunity. We need 7 strong innings out of Scherzer this evening.

Question: Do we see Valverde again in this series?

Yankees are nothing without Jeter that has been the fact in this series so far.

I don't know why JV continued throwing breaking balls to Nunez, he didn't throw a fastball for a strike the whole time.

I kind of thought that the leftfielder was going to catch Nunez' ball. I mean I think he should have moved a little more to the left(?) he would have had a better chance at catching the ball.

Had to sweat it out but good for Coke.

That was a nail-biter in the 9th. Well, it looks like I'm not backing my bags, but I'll be tired since I'll be working out the rest of the week.

Nite and Go Tigers!

You can kind of tell the Yankees were somehwhat challenging in the 9th. They were fouling off pitches left and right. Seemed to show a little more guts at least in the 9th.

Yanks are done. You can see they have no fight in them.

Now if the Cards can finish off the Giants, I will be happy

Again, the Yankees showed a little life in the 9th. I do think CC wins game 4. I think CC is a horse just like JV.

I have a dumb question. If they have to cancel the rest of the Cards game, what do they do? Do they give the Cards the victory even though they played 7 innings or do they resume the game in the 7th inning?

How long are they going to wait with the Yankees game?

Always nice to see the GOOD things NFL players do
