MLB 2012 Postseason

I have a dumb question. If they have to cancel the rest of the Cards game, what do they do? Do they give the Cards the victory even though they played 7 innings or do they resume the game in the 7th inning?

How long are they going to wait with the Yankees game?

All postseason games must go 9-innings. They will continue where they left off.

Why, so they can play in the SNOW instead ?
No. So they will be less likely to get rained out. The rain west of the Rockies mostly falls in the winter outside of baseball season.

Anyway. I was just joking. It was a jab at the eastern half of the country. All in fun

The weather I'm looking at looks like pretty steady rain until a little after midnight. I don't think they're going to get this one in tonight.

According to the radar the rain in St Louis stopped, but there is another small band of t-storms moving in, but it should only be brief.

Okay, we're an hour into a rain delay...and it hasn't rained? There's a good chance it may rain, but then again it may not. So in 45-minutes we'll find out whether it rains and if they'll play the game. It seems like the game would be in the 6th inning and those of us who get up at 4:00 AM can at least get a few hours of sleep. Ugh! Who in the hell is staying up 'till 1:30 AM or later to watch this?

I am 30 minutes south of Detroit and it was pouring here at around 8:30 and still raining off and on now.

Whats Seattle's excuse ? :D

They aren't good enough to worry about it. :)

Seriously, even in Seattle, it doesn't rain much in the summer. Pretty much all of their rain also falls in the winter.
