L511 software on my 622 -- skips fixed

I received L511. NBC shows I taped are now working without skips!

any news on what else is fixed or upgraded on the L511

L511 is likely identical to L510, with the MPEG4 decoding reverted to the prior-to-L510 version of that module.

I don't get it. I have a 622 and it's had L449 firmware as long as I remember.
It is off alot of the time, and rebooted about once a week.
What's it take to ensure the system is up to date?

Thanks for the info, I was ready to call CSR but I knew that was going to be impossible to explain to them.

I was sure it had to be a software problem. Friday morning everything was fine!

Hmmm...now with L511, on KDFW (my HD LiL Fox affiliate), I get audio skips in buffered playback. The video is unaffected. It is not happening on the other HD LiLs, and it's not happening on my 722 (which has L511 as well). A reboot did not fix it.
