Click to expand... DHCP Reservation is what it's called on my linksys/cisco router. You just assign the IP address you want to the MAC address of the Hopper.

EMANON Well-Known SatelliteGuys Member Original poster Aug 9, 2007 25 1 WA Feb 2, 2014 #4 Thanks this I new about this work around. I wanted to turn off DHCP - just another possible security hole. I have 1 DHCP address open so it gets that address every time.
