Looks like after the DISH Hopper and Joey is released they will be offering parts available from DISH.COM.

The parts that look like they will be available are:

Hopper Internet Connector - $25.00
  • Connects all Hopper and Joeys on a Whole Home DVR network to the Internet when a direct router/modem connection to your Hopper is not available. Access and order thousands of online titles, ensure critical receiver data is current, and access your account through your TV.
  • Compatible Receiver Models: Hopper 2000 and Joey 1.0
  • Includes a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase
  • Item is not refundable
Remote Control - Hopper2000 - $20.00
  • Compatible Receiver Models: Hopper 2000
  • Includes a sixty (60) day warranty from the date of purchase
  • Item is not refundable
Remote Control - Joey 1.0 - $20.00
  • Compatible Receiver Models: Joey 1.0
  • Includes a sixty (60) day warranty from the date of purchase
  • Item is not refundable
(I thought the Hopper and Joey remotes were the same...)

Joey Rcvr Power Supply - $10.00
  • Replacement power supply for your Joey or Hopper Internet Connector.
  • Compatible Receiver Models: Joey 1.0
  • Compatible Devices: Hopper Internet Connector
  • Includes a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase
  • Item is not refundable
Decent prices and they should be available once Hopper and Joey goes on sale. :)

How about pricing for a Duo or Single Node? Those are the only parts that have not been mentioned yet.

I know what they cost but I'm not sure what they are suppose to sell for.

I'm curious as to why Dishstore is selling the HIC so cheap for.

I don't have the business rules yet but I'm guessing the HIC would be included in the install for the customer just like the Homeplug is now. But if someone wanted to purchase one after the install it should sell for more than $25.

Oh good, I was hoping that the Internet Connector wouldn't be much. So when I place my order with DISH for a Hopper and two Joeys in two and 1/2 weeks, do I just tell them that I need the Internet Connector and the installer will bring it or am I going to need to order it myself?

I can't even find the HIC on Dishstore yet... I am curious why Claude is still charging so much for the Sling Adapter!

Because he purchased a bunch of them at $90 each.... and then DISH lowered the price to $30 Retail after he got his shipment.

If he sells them hes going to take a huge loss. I am trying to talk him into letting us give them away. :D

I think a big selling assessory would be rf-modulators. I would want to connect rarely used tvs to a hopper via rf-modulator and get extra hopper remotes.

Now there's one reason to be pissed off at DISH.

Really no reason to get too upset. That's just how business goes a lot of times. Now, some companies will give retailers a chance to sell that inventory before they put the new price into affect but not all. I use to get upset but now I know I just have to manage my inventory better. Luckily we only have 1 sling adapter.

Depends how many he bought. Scott did use the word 'bunch'....

What equipment will I get?
