How about a good ROM? $10, $20, $30.........? Will not hold you to your answer, just want an idea since I always buy everything except leased receivers.
(I thought the Hopper and Joey remotes were the same...)
The Joey remote probably does not have the PiP buttons on it. I bet they would work on each other, but dish probably wants to eliminate confusion.
It's not built in anymore, but you could still use an adapter at the Hopper end of the connection. The Hopper Internet Connector would be the better option if you have or can easily get a coax drop near your router. Will the Home Plug system work with the Hopper or no? I use it for the 922 currently.
There is no Homeplug in the Hopper or Joey'sWill the Home Plug system work with the Hopper or no? I use it for the 922 currently.
that is the preferred connection over the other options like HIC or wireless.Just to double-check, the HIC will not be necessary, if I can connect the Hopper directly to my home network from its ethernet port, right?
