722K in middle TN, satellites 110, 119, 129.
I had some masonry work done on the chimney where my dish is mounted. Yesterday I had the dish clamped to a board and just laid across the top of the chimney. Moved it once and had good signals with it just sort of propped up.
Now, putting it back, I can't get it aimed correctly. I have not changed any adjustments, and it's back within 6-8 inches of it's last position. The mast would have been at least close to plumb before, and is now. Moving it around a bit, I get "wrong satellite-119 on 110, and 129 on 119. Clearly pointed at the wrong thing, but patiently moving it has not helped. The signal strength is strong-just the wrong one. Does this give enough info to help someone tell me which way to go?
I've always had good signal strength, and I have to believe I can manage to re-aim this myself-with a little advice. I originally installed it myself many years ago, and the new dish was installed right onto my old mast installation a few months ago without problems.
Thanks,
John
