haunted hopper

Just kidding I know my hopper isn't haunted. What has been happening though is I started watching a certain news channel in the morning recently. At first I had to change the channel to the one I wanted. Lately when I turn on the TV its already on that channel first thing in the morning. Is this a hopper feature? I know for sure it wasn't left on the channel before bed by me or anyone else in the house hold.

With S517 I think it was, may have been 520, one of the added features was that when you turn on the Hopper, it auto tunes to your most watched channel. One of the issues it is having is that it is randomly choosing which channel to auto tune to. I woke up 2 days ago to mine going to palladia. I have never watched, recorded, shared a minute of palladia in the last 4 years.

Or in Settings allow a channel to be picked as the channel to come on when the box does. If you want to.

Every time a feature comes out with Dish, there is always the crowd that wants these settings to be customizable, yet no one has realized that Dish has never really offered a whole lot of customization. There is no reason to think it will begin now. That said, I will agree that they improve it or get rid of it.

Can you imagine watching XXX before going to sleep and that is the channel the kids wake up to.

There are safety measures to prevent that. So far epix1 has been the most dangerous channel it has come on to.
