Getting a new 811 receiver?

Here is a tip from Echostar which may help you from pulling your hair out.

Some 811 receivers may not download software while connected to a DP 3:4 switch with a wing dish such as 61.5 or 148 connected.

Resolution:
811 receivers with P059 factory software may require that the software be downloaded prior to connecting the wing dish (61.5 or 148) to the DP 3:4 switch.
