Dead hopper?

This started early this morning. I have a Hopper 3. While watching TV, either live or a recorded show, after a few minutes, the screen goes black. Changing channels brings the screen back. Obviously, I tried rebooting and unplugging it several times, to no avail. The software is 309, so, nothing new there. I need help ASAP!

Can't speak for a Hopper3, but my regular Hopper started going black, then screen freezing. Spoke with Tech they recommended, immediate replacement

I had the same problem with a show I DVRed on the 11th also. It was on the Outdoor Channel from 7 -8 am. The recording would go to a black screen then I could get it going again by hitting fast forward. Finally by the last 20 minutes of the show it cleared up. My recording at 4 pm on MeTV worked fine.

Sounds like a momentary Dish Network hiccup.

BTW I have a Hopper 3.
