I'm curious how the fans will react to Arod once the season starts.....Booed everytime he steps to the plate when he's on the road? How will NYY fans react to him? Similar to Giants fans and Bonds?
Just like every other year...

Ummmmmm........Clemens never admitted to taking steroids.

I went to an Indians/Yankee game last year in Cleveland and every time Giambi came up to bat, there were sections of the crowd who would chant: "Ster--Oid", "Ster--Oid", "Ster--Oid".....
NY is hard on their players too. If A-Rod struggles at all, this may get ugly for him.
Totally agree. Everyone who will not watch one pitch of major league baseball this year because of this, either live or on TV, post it now.

All I hear are crickets...
Who is going to join HD's fan revolution and stop spending money on baseball either directly, by going to games, or indirectly, by not watching on TV, so ratings fall and MLB has to do something to fix the game?
Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
Sandra
Clemens tried to attack the accuser. It did not work. Arod is not being 100 percent honest. Arod used steroids. And I don't believe he stopped in 2003. I also believe he used them before 2001. You see what Arod did? He said he used them when he was that other team. Not with the Great New York Yankees. It won't work. I'm not that stupid. Arod will never tell the whole truth about what happened.
Unfortunately, I can't even commit myself. My company has already paid for 6 seats, during each Indians home game this year. I'm sure I will be "forced" to attend a game or 10.

I already stated in another thread that I refuse to pay money to a team that doesn't spend money to make the team better. So I wont be going to any games.
Try to keep up.
Must have been before April.
Are you going to stop watching games on TV too?

BTW....If you are goung to quote from one of the best movies, do it right.
Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?
No, I pay for FSN, so I might as well not lose any money.
Well by the time it's the All-Star Game break, they will be so far out of it, I'll be pissed and stop watching them.
That's cuz your Pirates suck.
If you were true to your word, you'd ban yourself from all things Steelers.
What does the Steelers have to do with baseball?
And once again when was the last time the Indians won the World Series?
Stones....Glass Houses my friend.
OK, chalk up one more person who won't stop paying because of steroids.
Sandra
Both have a rich history in Steroid abuse.
You asked, I'm just answering.
SI's Selena Roberts tells her side of the A-Rod story - Dan Patrick.com"I can tell you that long list of things he alleged were a complete fabrication," Roberts said.
A-Rod said that she was kicked out of a gym by the University of Miami police for trespassing. Roberts said she talked to a University of Miami official before entering the weight room. She then approached A-Rod and gave him a chance to respond to her story. Rodriguez said he wouldn't talk. Roberts said she then tried to hand him her card and left. Roberts said the university police were not involved and it was not a contentious situation.
Roberts also explained the situation when the police came to talk to her near Alex Rodriguez's property. She said the police were called to answer a guard's question about whether the island A-Rod's home is on was public or private property. Roberts said it turned out to be public. It was a non-incident. Totally benign, even though there is a report because the police file paperwork on all their activity. She said A-Rod's claims that she tried to break into his house were ridiculous.
"I never rang his doorbell," Roberts said. "I never stepped on his driveway. I was never anywhere near his house."
After all that, Roberts thought that A-Rod did a good job apologizing on ESPN on Monday. He revealed more information by admitting he took something in 2001 and 2002. She thinks this could all blow over.
So when did she try to break into his house? Arod said she did. " she tried to break into his Miami home where his "children were sleeping". It never happened.
And the police officer that responded to the call said he made out an incident report. She was never arrested like Arod said. Roberts also asked for and received permission from security at the University of Miami to enter the school's workout facilities and talk to Rodriguez on Thursday.
I guess you want me to believe a man that lies in the past . I won't .
Arod is a liar. He's still telling lies. He lied in the interview on Monday. Roger Clemens tried this strategy and it didn't work for him either.
