Alex Rodriguez tests positive for steroids and now ADMITS it

Did you read my earlier post? I know someone who works in Baseball. And I heard back in 2004 that Arod used Steroids.

Arod is still not telling the truth. He lied in the interview. So that should tell you what's really going on .

OK, we are in agreement then. I said I thought he lied too. Read my post.

Wait, "your source" that told you "the Yankees are releasing A-Rod" didn't tell you this too, did he???

He also stated, if I am mistaken, that the reporter never went to A-Rod's house...yet there is the Miami Beach police ON LOCAL TV(wsvn Fox affliate in Miami) stating that the 'female in question refused to leave and she was escorted off the island without incident'.....

And I totally agree...but what makes you so sure a reporter leaked in the info? IF the records were supposed to be sealed....whether for right or wrong reason...don't YOU expect them to be sealed?!

Whatever. You're taking my point in a different direction. Obviously someone leaked the information. How about this...

I don't care who leaked the information. I blame A-Rod for being on the list, not HOWEVER the information was leaked.

Let's not turn this into another pissing match.

I say let them walk out the door. Let them all go on strike and stay home if they still want to use illegal drugs. Let's bring in some other players that will play the game the way it is supposed to be. Whoever doesn't like it can stay home and watch their teams play without them.

That's kind of what I was saying earlier. Everyone talks about how the MLB Players Union is the largest and strongest in sports, but I have a counter to that.......

The Fans! Fans essentially pay for professional sports existence. Without fans, teams would have no merchandise sales, corporate sponsors, ticket or TV revenue and so on. The game would be dead without fan support.

It's all just a matter of whether fans have had enough or not. Eliminating support and money contributed until the league get's its act cleared up would be the first step by us as fans.

Another lie Arod told
Arod "To be quite honest with you, the first time that I knew I had failed a test 100 percent was when the lady from Sports Illustrated [Selena Roberts] came into my gym just a few days ago and told me, "You have failed a test."

Fact.
He was told he failed the test. Gene Orza told him he failed the test back in 2003.

...if I am not mistaken, and correct me if I am wrong...Orza told him and possibly other players that 'he maybe on a list that might or might not have failed the steroids testing'....

Please don't start pulling out the credibility card. I've already called you out on that twice. Both of your so called "insider information" has already proven to be false. Plus, your new around here. As far as I'm concerned, you're just an anonymous internet poster with an agenda.

When facts don't back people up, they start telling you why they know more than you. When they know nothing about you.

No...Someone DID leak it. And that someone is leaking information that was suposed to be sealed. I would like to know who leaked just as much as the other players who failed. Because IF it was done by the MLB offices, then the motive could be to bring down the players union by the owners. We ALL REMEMBER how the owners have turned the position of Commissioner into spagetti crap....I want to know if they are trying the same thing with the players union also....

...to me, this smells as alot more than who took steroids.....

I don't think this will ever happen, but I can't tell you how happy I would be if it did. :)

What should get every fan upset is Arod used his steroid years to get a contract with the Yankees. His MVP year is a sham. It was a steroid year.

Now, This is going to get fun. Want to know why? Because more is going to come out. And it's not going to be pretty. Arod wants us to now to believe he stopped cold turkey after 2003. But in that same interview he lied about the reporter.

Now Arod is really in trouble. The interview he gave opened the door to investigations.

Do you people really believe Arod told the truth ? He just woke up one day and said I can't take steroids anymore? He talked about the pressure of living up to a contract . And he stops using them before went to the Yankees . It was less pressure with the Yankees?

GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE.

The Feds got their hands on the list when they raided BALCO. Once they have it, God knows where else it went. It's a huge reach to start blaming MLB when the list is all over the place. You even have to wonder if the former Mrs. A-Rod has an axe to grind, and was one of the four 'sources'.

Totally agree. Everyone who will not watch one pitch of major league baseball this year because of this, either live or on TV, post it now.

That was my initial guess.

That was my initial guess.
Guys.

His ex-wife in the same room during the interview.

What's really funny is that Arod admits that he needed steroids to play well to live up to his contract. That's why he's Afraud. He also said he later found out he didn't need them. But look at the numbers he put up with steroids. Now going forward let's see what happens. IMHO he's been on steroids for years. IMHO he used steroids as a Yankee. And the truth will come out .

Are you Jose Canseco? A-Rod has about 8 years left in his contract...the Yankees have the best player in baseball signed adn sealed. He did something when alot of players were doing it and there were no rules about it...it was the Wild, Wild West...so to speak. He admitted he took a banded substance which is EXACTLY what EVERYONE was clamouring for. Now, is there more Yankees on the list? Possibly...Should they release the names? YES. Should MLB ALSO be investigated for their part in it? YES!

Oh and by the way, for the umpteenth time....the reporter tried to get to Star Island UNINVITED...that makes you a tresspasser and was escorted out....BY POLICE. THAT is not lying.....

So when did she try to break into his house? Arod said she did. " she tried to break into his Miami home where his "children were sleeping". It never happened.

And the police officer that responded to the call said he made out an incident report. She was never arrested like Arod said. Roberts also asked for and received permission from security at the University of Miami to enter the school's workout facilities and talk to Rodriguez on Thursday.

I guess you want me to believe a man that lies in the past . I won't .

Arod is a liar. He's still telling lies. He lied in the interview on Monday. Roger Clemens tried this strategy and it didn't work for him either.

I am curious who leaked this also. However, the players union, from what I understand, was supposed to destroy those samples and they did not. That is their fault. If someone illegally leaked this information, be it a court case or whatever, they need to be dealt with swiftly. I just don't see how this could be MLB who leaked this. The Feds wanted these samples, the union fought them, and the feds got what they wanted. If I am A-Rod and any other player, I am pissed at the union for allowing this to happen.

I'm curious how the fans will react to Arod once the season starts.....Booed everytime he steps to the plate when he's on the road? How will NYY fans react to him? Similar to Giants fans and Bonds?
