AL EAST 2009

BOY! Am I looking forward to tonight's game in Cleveland. What a night for me...a warm-up with this battle to see if the Tribe can derail the mighty Sox followed by what should be a wild Game 6 @ Honda Center!

A true sports fan's perfect evening of viewing;)!

Best of luck to my two SG bruthas Bill and HD on what should be an exciting early season series! Here's to well-played, hard-fought games.:up

Thanks a lot buddy :). And best of luck to your Ducks tonight! :up

The Jake has been historically unkind to the Sox, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tribe take two out of three.

Boston may have a lot of pitchers but I am not sure they are the right ones.

I'll give you Brad Penny and Javier Lopez, but other than that, I can't see a problem with this pitching corps (including the aforementioned prospects).

Thanks buddy. I'll be watching this series with much trepidation. :up

Tim Wakefield may not have got the win tonight, but he was sensational for the third straight start.

Wakefield's last three starts: 23 IP, 3 Runs, 10 Hits

The Sox have now won 11 in a row, but I'll try to contain my excitement since it's only April.

You have plenty of reason to gloat Bill. These Red Sox are en fuego!

This whole thread from around post 500 on is this weekend , what do you mean not getting wound up. ;)

The World Series is not till October. :up
And you wouldn't be similarly psyched if your team managed an 11 game winning streak including a sweep of your biggest rivals?? Please.

You know I would've had 1k additional posts if my team won 11 in a row. Pure debauchery would definitely insure if my Tribe was on a streak like the Bo Sox are on right now. :)

Please show me the post(s) where I declared this past weekend the World Series.

Getting geared up for the Sox going for 12 in a row, but the remote will get quite the workout tonight.

Bulls-Celtics, Red Sox-Indians and Rangers-Capitals all start at 7 PM.
