Good outing for the home team this evening. Of course, tomorrow's game is going to be a lot more difficult. I just hope Porcello shows up to the ballpark with his "A" game.

Peavy hitting Berry opened up the gates for the 3 run inning. Gotta hope Sale can shut them down tomorrow. After this series, Tigers have a long road trip against good teams. Don't want to give up the division lead.

I thought Sale was on schedule to match-up against Verlander this evening - it would have been an excellent dual. Regardless, Sale is having an excellent year and we'll have to put on our hitting shoes and get a few breaks in order to beat him. We shall see...

They added a LH rookie call up to pitch Wed night so that both Peavy and Sale would pitch in Detroit. Sales throwing the ball well, Peavy didn't pitch bad, 1 inning always seems to beat him and they don't score for him.
