We're beyond the point of calling-up the rookie of the week from Toledo and seeing how well or poorly he does in Comerica Park. It's time to put Porcello and Scherzer on the trading blocks. I thought our pitching rotation would have improved after we dumped Brad Penny from the lineup. Go figure!

I would trade Porcello for a 2b, a quality 2b, not a 35 year old one though.

I'm hoping they can pick up Prado from the Braves, his name hasn't come up of late, maybe thats a good thing.

There was some talk about Infante coming back or a trade for Scutero

Agreed...but they need more time to develop, and we need help now. I feel it's time to rethink our long-term strategy involving Porcello and Scherzer since 3-4 years of inconsistent pitching is long enough IMO. We don't need another Verlander (although that would be nice), but we do need a couple seasonsed veterans who will consistently pitch well, give us 6+ innings, and keep us in the game. The Bobbsey Twins just aren't doing the job.

Braves aren't trading Prado. Very happy with him and Braves have been making a run. Getting Infante may be your best option. Hope you don't get Dempster, but he wants to stay in the NL.
