Nice win for the Tigers this evening...although we were in big trouble after Porcello gave up those mid-inning runs. I really like how we're getting production out of the bottom half of the lineup; and I like what I'm seeing from Fister who looks as though he is finally injury-free after the All-Star break. However, 3-5 in the starting rotation is inconsistent, at best. Sure, Porcellor and Scherzer should be more "seasoned" given they work side-by-side with JV - a disciplined workhorse. Also, Santiago needs to start hitting or they need to play someone else at 2B.

Have you been seeing/hearing about Tigers 3B prospect Nick Castellanos, they have started to have him play in the outfield, seeing Cabrera is not going anywhere soon .... I know he's a big guy, but why not groom him to play 2b seeing we continually need a 2b year after year ?

I haven't heard about Nick Castellanos, but it's good to know.
