Tigers up early with a Jackson leadoff HR.
Jackson starts a new streak, his 16 game hit streak was snapped last night.
From reading the paper, the team didn't seem too worried about it.
As long as they go out and win series, thats all they need to do, so win today and they will keep moving, at least not losing ground.
If they can get on streaks that they win 5-6 and lose one then start winning again, thats fine.
2-0 after 5-innings. We need more runs because I see Verlanding coming out after the 7th (it's hot out there).

I wish they had set it up so JV was starting against the Angels.
The Angels are happy not to have that scenario after JV verbally threatened to get even with Eric Aybar for his bunt last season. He said he'd get Eric this year but I guess not. Sorry, JV. LOL!
