We thought for the Angels this year would be all about Albert.

I did not expect Trumbo and Trout to light it up this much. That said, I am not surprised by 11-1 Weaver.

With the extra playoff spot, I think we're in for something very interesting in the AL this fall.

We need Haren to fully heal. I personally feel he let the team down by pitching hurt. It did not help the situation at all. We need to get someone who can get inside the head of Santana and figure out in what Universe he is currently residing. If we can do that and perhaps nurture another starter to keep "at bay" in AAA we should be in dandy shape come October.

Key to Tigers tonight...find out right away in the 1st inning exactly where Santana is. If he starts off on-fire and focused, put this one in your pocket and pray to get to the Angels' beleagured bullpen. If (as has been the case lately) Santana is doing his best "Moon Mullins" act and is physically in Detroit but his mind is on Pluto...go after him FAST! He can be had very easily in the 1st 3 inngs when he is like that.

Then again, he may startle the hell out of all of us and be as brilliant as he was last year in Cleveland and pitch a beauty of a no-hitter!!! GO FIGURE!
