Great outing by fister and nice to see we pick up a game in the standings

Breaking News .....

Brandon Inge has cracked the .200 level, now hitting .201 !

It's hard to imagine, but he's creeping up to Santiago.

- Elsewhere in the lineup, Andy Dirks gets a "Good Cookie" award for maintaining a .328 average despite being a role play and appearing in only 37 games this season. Can Dirks play 2B?

- The real dynamic duo of Cabrera and Fielder are both on track to hit 30+ HR, knock in 100+ RBIs and average .300+

- Verlander and Scherzer are #2 and #3 in the league on the strike-out list.

Big game tonight for the Tigers...taking 3 of 4 from a very good Angels ballclub would be excellent. Conversely, splitting a 4 game series at home wouldn't be so great.

Go Tigers!

I'm wonder if this kid in the Minors that they wanted at 3b and have since moved to the outfield can play 2b, they probably think he's too Big to play 2b, I guess.

What a weekend, weather will be great and first place series, let's go Tigers!
