2011 MLB Playoffs

He knows his players better than we do. He must have his reasons.

I'm sure he knows his player better than you. Still, it was a big mistake for Leyland to include Brad "Melon Head" Penny on the playoff roster and it will be mistake for Leyland not to pitch Verlander on Sunday...and he should hide Porcello as much as possible. Regardless, I hope it doesn't rain again this evening.

Cards score 3 in the first off Halladay. Only the second time all year Halladay allowed a HR with runners on base.

Like I already said, I would be surprised to see a Cards and Rays WS. It is not always the best teams to appear; it is usually the hottest team that goes. Now there are no hotter teams than St. Louis and TB

It's gonna be a monumental task for any team to beat the Phillies. Obviously their pitching is peerless, but the addition of Hunter Pence has made their lineup one of the deepest in baseball. They can beat you so many different ways.

This is one of the biggest blowouts I have seen in a playoff game for a while, currently 11-3 Phils

It's going to be odd restarting Game 1, in place of Game 2, in the bottom of the 2nd inning with two new starting pitchers who, actually, are relief pitchers and will not be credited with a postseason start. Go figure!

Go Tigers! :cheer2:

...and since neither is starting, either one can pick up a win by only pitching one inning. They do not need to go 5

The Rays pitching staff has held the potent Rangers bats scoreless through 12 innings thus far.

As soon as you said that, the Rays have some what collapsed right now. Game now tied at 3. Runners at 1st and 2nd and NOBODY out.

Its funny the Cardinals lead the Phillies who were at home 3-0 and then the Phillies exploded. The Rays lead the Rangers who were at home 3-0 and then the Rangers exploded to take a big lead.

Looks like the Yankees have this one in the bag. If your the Tigers or a Tiger fan you must be wondering "Where the hell is the rain now"?

Happy Halloween Everyone!
