Why is some of the FOX cameras real sharp in HD and the ones on the pitcher and hitters NOT, those are VERY SOFT ?

I've noticed this on some of their NFL broadcasts as well. From afar, it looks terrible, but a zoom shot looks pristine. I don't get it.

Didn't they mention that FOX sporting telecast would only be on 720p? I could have sworn I heard that... I could be wrong.

Even so, it doesn't explain how 1 camera looks terrible, while the next looks good.

I do sometimes wish the camera for showing the pitcher pitch to the batter was more centered. Some of those pitches that were balls yesterday looked like strikes and visa versa.

Yes then Ryan perry comes in and shows how to give up a walk off grand slam.

With the runners they left on the tigers should be happy they were in this game. Rangers are doing what it takes, tigers not so much. Don't think this will go past five games if even that

I beg to differ ... Rangers were only 3-13 with RISP

Tigers were not any good either, but it shows the Rangers had PLENTY of men on base that didn't score.

There's nothing wrong with 720p.

It's actually BETTER for Sports, unless they were to do it in 1080p.

I think FOX has always been 720p
CBS is 1080i

The broadcasts on Fox Sports Detroit looked great all year, but they sure looked like crap in the ALCS. If the picture looks terrible tonight then I have no idea what Fox is doing.

Fox and FOX Sports Detroit are separate entities.

Tigers need to get Martinez going, I think Avilla is starting to come around, being beat up behind the plate will do that kinda stuff to you, just picked a terrible time to happen.

One of the guys on MLB Net. had an interesting idea, move Santiago to leadoff spot and Jackson to second.

Lewis has a ERA of about 6 against the Tigers this year and so far they can't do squat.

Why do I get the feeling that every Ranger batter has HR potential and when the Tigers are hitting, I feel like if they HIT the ball it's a plus ?
