2011 MLB Playoffs

Then a hurt Martinez comes up and works a walk without having to take a swing.

We're in a world of hurt without Martinez, Ordonez and Young (not to mention Boesch)...the Raburns, Inges, Dirks and Kellys will only get us so far. So what's the latest on Delmon Young? We need him back in the lineup, and we somehow need Martinez not to be injured.

Well, if Young had been healthy enough, he'd be in there tonight.
Maybe tomorrow, maybe he's DONE ?

But one thing this Tigers team has in spades is heart (I wish my Red Sox had half the heart the Tigers do).

Not to look too far ahead BUT, if you guys can hang on tonight, and the Tigers can win tomorrow afternoon......you then have the best pitcher in the world going Thursday with a chance to take the series lead.

Well, it will either be 2-2 or down 3-1 (if tonight's score holds on) with Verlander on the mound.

that said, he hasn't LOOKED like the best pitcher out there, yet ... then again, he seems to be RainMan ...

Btw, forecast for Detroit on Thursday is RAIN, 60%

Josh Hamilton hates Tigers fans...even threw his bat at the crowd. Seriously, did you see that guy who was playing-up a major head injury when the handle of the bat barely touched him after some smacking some lady behind him? Give this guy an acting award---I'll betcha injury lawyers were coming to his seat---and he didn't spill a drop of beer in the process. As for the woman behind him who was hit squarely with the heavy end of bat...she refused medical attention and said it was no big deal. My counsin Dave is sitting behind 1st base and just texted me.

Chances are they will bring Benwah (sp) in to pitch the 8th, I'd rather keep Fister in there.

Fister will be ready if a GAME 7 is nessasary.

Oh, wow, they kept Fister in for the 8th !

Happy Halloween Everyone!
