2011 MLB Playoffs

What a great day to be a Detroit sports fan!

Tigers in the ALCS this afternoon, and the undefeated Lions on MNF this evening. The fans from Detroit that post here are very passionate, so it's nice to see their teams doing well!

Enjoy guys.......you deserve it!!! :)

It's About Time !!!

You got to be kidding me, the last pitch to Avilla was almost in the dirt and the ump called it strike 3.
I would like the Tigers pitchers to get that pitch ...

2nd and 3rd and the Big guys (supposively) coming up.

They are walking Cabrera to face Martinez.

Unfortunately they have 2 outs already.

Edit:
Martinez hits a soft liner to LF that the shortstop went out and made the play on, but had more white showing than anything else ..... an out none the less.

WOW,
What a piece of pitching by Valverde ...
Bases loaded and no outs and he gets out of it without giving up a run !!!!

Also only threw 12 pitches that inning, so maybe coming back out for the 10th ... maybe.

Where is the game? What channel?

Yes then Ryan perry comes in and shows how to give up a walk off grand slam.

With the runners they left on the tigers should be happy they were in this game. Rangers are doing what it takes, tigers not so much. Don't think this will go past five games if even that

Go lions!

I got very concerned when Valverde plunked Nelly Cruz in the ribs and wrist, though it was very reassuring to see him come back and win it with a walk-off grand slam!! It's funny that not too long before that Fox put on the screen that the Rangers have never had a postseason walk-off home run. :)

The Tigers sure do know how to keep these games competitive though!! Now the real test of taking a 2-0 lead back to Detroit for games 3-4 (hopefully for us not a 5th).
