2011 MLB Playoffs

Rangers got another break ... guy thrown out going to 2nd and the ball pops out.

All the breaks have went thier way tonight, but Fister has kept them at bay !

First break the Tigers got was when Cabrera's hit down the RF line stayed fair.

Thanks Taco Bell .....

Bad enough we have to hear about Brian Wilson and his beard all year, now that were in the playoffs with NO GIANTS in sight, we have to hear him in a commercial, a very dumb one at that.

What is it with all the towels in the ALCS? I hate them just as much today as I did when the Pittsburgh Steelers starting twirling their Terrible Towels back in the mid-70s. Is it me or does anyone else hate people waiving their snot-rags?

My guess would be it was a promotional thing tonight.

You know, I'm getting tired of the ignorant Fox coverage team portraying Doug Fister as a sub-par pitcher before coming to Detroit and "turning his season around". Sure, the guy had a 3-12 record while in Seattle prior to being traded, but he also had a very good 3.11 ERA - he just didn't get any run support with the Mariners. Heck, I'm surprised his ERA didn't balloon to 5 or 6 because it's hard to pitch when your offense only gives you 1.97 runs per game.

Again, Fister was a good pitcher prior to coming to Detroit...but he is now a stellar pitcher playing for a team that gives him a few runs each game.

Just my two cents. I think I've heard TBS/Fox inaccurately report his story a half-dozen times so far.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

ESPN's special called "unguarded"...
