2011 Big Ten Football

Ok you are telling me I can't post here while I was talking about a big 10 game but you can go to the sec thread and talk about the big 10 there? Hmmmmmmm. Ok no problem I won't post here again. You know its not just salsa and Sandra that is making people to want to stop posting in sports section.

I figured I have enough time here that I wouldn't be treated like a noob, guess not.

No, Not AT ALL ..... (didn't you see the !!!!!!)

My comment was joking about there only being two of you, nothing personal.

What did I miss?

Just browsing thru some schedules, looks like Michigan State has a tough stretch coming up they play:
ND this weekend.
Central Mich (easy weekend) then
17 Ohio State
Michigan
7 Wisconsin and
11 Nebraska

I just don't know about the Spartans...they have the potential to beat just about anyone, and they also have to potential to beat themselves. They should beat Notre Dame this weekend but I never know what team is going to show up. Regardless, they are going to be a factor this year.

Hey now I went to Central Michigan and they last played Michigan State in 2009 and won. That was my junior year of college and a very exciting game in East Lansing.

We also had Dan LeFevour(Bengals QB), Antonio Brown(Steelers WR), Brian Hartman( Texans P), Cullen Jenkins (Eagles DE), Joe Staley (49ers OT), Nick Bellore (Jets LB), and Frank Zombo (Packers OLB) all on that team. All of those guys are starting in the NFL now except for LeFevour and Bellore.

Haha it's safe to say they don't have that caliber of player anymore. Brian Kelly, the current coach of Notre Dame brought all of those guys in when he was the head coach during my freshmen and sophomore years.

Look for the Spartans to win big. The Chips just don't have it anymore. That being said, I will still be in attendance at the game wearing the maroon and gold.

The MAC has always been a breading ground for developing some of the best coaches in college football. Unfortunately, when the coaches step-up to a major conference the football programs they built usually get knocked-back a few notches. I remember being very glad the Wolverines were playing Eastern Michigan during those dark "Rich Rodriguez years" and not the Chippewas.

Ohio State claims that these uniforms will honor the 1961 team, making these 50th Anniversary kits. “Honoring the Past and Driving Toward the Future” is their slogan to go with the uniforms that will be donned as the team faces the Wisconsin Badgers on October 29.

I'm sorry, but I just cannot stand any of the Nike "Combat" uniforms. Good things it's only one game!
