Brandon Inge gets called up. Ugh I think in ten years Brandon Inge will still be on this team. And he is also playing tonight as he was hitting 400 against lefties in the minors. What's the over under on his strike outs tonight I will put it at two

Where did you see that Inge got called up ?
Never mind, I see it in the Free Press, for some reason it wasn't in the News that I had just went thru.
Probably mentioned in the Post game as well that I missed ....

Yep, Inge is up and Dirks is sent to Toledo. Leyland said Inge and Betemit will platoon at third, meaning Inge will probably start just about every game for the rest of the season. Well if he is going to be here lets just hope he can get anywhere close to his production in the minors. If he can hit above .260 for the rest of the year I will be amazed.
I too will be amazed if Inge can hit for average and he will have to prove that he is no longer a guaranteed strike-out or double-play with runners on base. Of course, he can also screw-up the Tigers bid to win the division. Leyland is taking a huge gamble taking the bat out of the hands of a .280 hitting and having it to Inge. I may start biting my fingernails this weekend. 
Inge against Leftys and Betimit against Righty's.
IF Inge hit .260 he'd still be here ... He needs to hit better than that actually, I'd like to see him hit .270+ and he can keep the job next year, otherwise, find a hitting 3B and be done with him.
Problem is, they sent Dirks back down, we was the ONE guy that has speed and can play CF if Jackson needs a break.
I have no idea what to expect with Inge being called up this evening. Well, let's hope Fister has his "A" game and Inge demonstates his hitting prowness.
And I expect 2 strikeouts a double-play and a pop-out from 3B tonight. Let's hope you're right and I'm wrong!

Did you see the pitch the guy gave him, you could have hit that one out, middle of the plate and high ....
