I guess we should lump Tom Brady in with Elvis Grbac, Brian Griese, Drew Henson and Chad Henne?

How about Peyton Manning with Tee Martin and Heath Shuler?

Drew Brees with Kyle Orton and Curtis Painter?

I have to ask, what is it about the idea of a healthy Peyton Manning & Andrew Luck on the same team that makes people act like it will upset the balance of nature & the world as we know it(I won't respond to this question because I have no answer to this dilemma)?

There's 28 million reasons.

As far as I know, you can only play 1 QB at a time? To me the only one's who will be upset will be the QB's and their Dad's.

People act like the only thing that will conflict with Peyton Manning & Andrew Luck on the same team is Peyton's ego. Next to Tim Tebow, this is the second biggest controversy in the NFL right now.

Because neither one of them is going to be satisfied riding the pine. Peyton Manning is Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck is the most hyped QB coming out of college.... well, possibly ever.

Andrew should realize that he is the new kid who hasn't proven anything yet in the NFL(as everybody points out). It is really up to Peyton to make this work out. of course he'll be the starter if he can prove that his neck has healed & doesn't affect his play. I think deep down he knows that it is his responsibility to help develop Andrew, even though he knows he's training his replacement & that his position will eventually be "outsourced" to Andrew Luck. Hopefully,it'll be when he retires(don't go "Brett Favre" on us Peyton).

Brett Favre is 7+ years older than Manning. If Manning's neck is ok, he's got plenty of years left. I saw no signs of diminishing skills last year. If healthy, I just can't see Luck sitting behind Manning until Manning decides to hang it up.

Sorry HD....

25 years ago today … The Drive
By LINDSAY JONES

While Broncos fans nationwide try to come up with the best name for the Broncos’ most recent playoff win — The Throw? The Stiffarm? — let’s reminisce about a game that needs no other reference than The Drive.

John Elway led the Broncos 98 yards and to the Super Bowl 25 years ago today. It was one of the greatest days in franchise history, and a game that helped build Elway’s legacy as the ultimate clutch quarterback.

What are your memories of The Drive?

It's a shame that football isn't like baseball where you can have a quarterback rotation. I guess we'll just have to see how the Colts do next season with Peyton Manning(if he's healthy & they haven't traded/waived him yet) & Andrew Luck on the same team. Of course I thought it was a great idea when the Houston Rockets had the "twin towers" Hakeem Olajuwan & Ralph Sampson in the same starting line up(which I understand you'll never see Peyton & Andrew in the same backfield.that's just dumb).

WHY is it a shame???

Because the players are used to one voice calling cadence,& switching players back & forth could be disruptive, especially if each QB has plays specifically for himself. That's a lot of plays for the offensive players to memorize.

I understand that, and why it would not work, but you said it was a shame that there is not a QB rotation.

I am asking why would you want that? Why is it a shame?

You seem to think it would be a good idea to have multiple QB's.

Why do you think that?

With the season being as long as it is,especially if they do go with an 18 game season,it would keep your QB's fresh. If the Steelers had a better back-up than Charlie Batch, maybe ben could have been rested like he should have been & he would have been more healthy than he was last Sunday.
The Colts(back to the Colts) could let Peyton rest a game or two & let Andrew start, get his starting experience in games that matter,& keep Peyton healthy for the playoffs if the Colts are in playoff contention. I'd experiment with a Peyton-Andrew rotation in the pre-season(let Peyton start one game & Andrew the next one) & do my best to let them know that it is not a contest to see who is the starter, but a way to keep both of them healthy enough for the playoffs, although in the playoffs, rotation goes out the window.

-What the heck is keeping Jeff Fisher from deciding between St. Louis and Miami??

-Mark Davis says it's imperative to get a new stadium and has talked with groups in LA about returning.

-Broncos/Patriots game has generated the least interest on NFL Ticket Exchange. Average price - $113, Ravens-Texans average price $451, Saints-49'ers $345, Giants-Packers $290

Whatever happened to the joint proposal for a 49ers/Raiders shared stadium? There's no new stadium in LA yet,& I'm expecting the Chargers to move to any new one built.

$113 is a steal. It's ironic that the game that is the most expensive(Ravens-Texans) is the least interesting to me. The only team I want to see the Ravens play are the Broncos.

i wouldn't be shocked if at the end fisher decided to wait another year to come back :/
