I think it depends on Who Flynn would sign with, are we sure that he's going anywhere ?

As far as that goes, he's hardly alone, theres been plenty of QB's that moved on from thier back up job that struggled/flopped as a full time starter.

There nobody more popular than the BACK UP QB.

He's a free agent, will get more to compete to start somewhere than the Packers are going to offer a backup.

So, do the Pack have another capable back up or will the y be looking for another Flynn/Rogers (remember Rogers was a back up too !)

Report: McDaniels to Pats, starts immediately

Report: McDaniels to Pats, starts immediately - CBSSports.com

snip...

The Patriots are the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and they won't have to play until next Saturday in Foxboro, so McDaniels would have at least a week to reingratiate himself to the team. As CSNNE's Tom E. Curran retweets, McDaniels' offense already has faced the Steelers, Ravens, Bengals, Packers and Saints this year, and that would help New England's prep if it has to face those squads in the postseason (out of those teams, the Patriots have played only Pittsburgh this year).

God, I really don't like that kid. And I am still not happy with Pat Bowlen for inflicting him on the Broncos. Even more reason why I'd love to see a Denver win tomorrow, if just to have another chance at the Patriots.

Now comes word that there COULD BE a coaching change by McKenzie in Oakland. I don't see it.... Rumor has it that McKenzie wants to hire former Raider and current LB coach/assistance Packers headcoach Winston Moss.

Hmmmm... Again, I don't see it. I like Hue Jackson.... I personally think he should get ATLEAST on more year. But it ain't up to me....

I would give Hue Jackson another year. Im really surprised that there are rumors that he might go. I thought he had a good year and I think some of the Raiders just gave up in the game against the Chargers.

They didn't give up. Bresnahan was a terrible defensive play caller and DC. Throughout the year, he did not prepare that defense.

Or maybe the Chargers just played up to their potential for a change.

Never said they didn't play well. I am confirming that the Raiders did not quit and Bresnahan should have had that team prepared with what the Chargers were bring because their game has never changed and playing that team as many times, you should know what to expect.

Hmmm. What did you call this type of behavior? Something about a microwave world? That would make it 3 different head coaches in 3 years?! Lol! That's got to be some sort of record.

Yeah.... and I HATE it. I think Hue Jackson made the mistakes that most 1st-year-ever-as-a-headcoach make. I think he deserves another year at the very least. This team had more injuries than ever before to starters.

I agree...Jackson deserves another year for sure. I think he has potential.

But injuries to Darren McFadden are no longer news. A special running back with all kinds of ability, except the most important kind...avail-ability.

And what usually happens... that "special player" gets traded somewhere else...and become a MONSTER on another team. I think you have to give McFadden one more year as well and then you serious have to consider trading him.

...Man, that last sentence made my stomach queezy....
