Exactly with the Metrodome,BC Place Stadium in Vancouver had the same kind of roof as the Metrodome. They refurbished BC Place & replaced its roof with a retractable roof that has cables attached to the roof enclosure like spokes on a wheel. The cables pull the retractable roof out like putting up a sail on a sail boat.just in 360 degree directions. The Vikings can play in TCF Bank Stadium, which by the way can expand their seating from 50,000 seats to 80,000 seats,& I'm very sure can have heating installed in the causeways for wintertime play. The Vikings' ownership is just so myopic about getting a brand new palace, they don't want to see or consider those options that I've given.

There are a lot of reasons why they may not want to go with existing venues, probably mostly has to do with who owns them and the politics and costs involved in using those properties. For example, it cost them almost $1.8m to play their disrupted home game on TCF Bank Stadium after the roof caved in in the Metrodome. They've nearly paid that debt off - Vikings have nearly paid off university for using stadium - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

Sports by Brooks reported today that one of the reasons that Norv Turner was not fired was because the Chargers are heavily rumored to move to LA.

Yeah one of the theories is they could use that discontent to get out of town. I think it's because they probably don't think they can get any better than Norv.

I expect they'll take a step back next year, especially if they let Vincent Jackson go. They never recovered from losing Sproles.

Raiders interviewed Packers president of player personnel and former Raider Reggie McKenzie for the same position. That would be a HUGE coup for the Raiders and a step in the right direction if he comes this way.

The end of Hue as well IMO.

I doubt it. It more like the curbing of Hue. His ego is getting to big for his britches. I like him and definately had his bad moments... But I would have loved to have seen this team with a healthy offense.

I dont think you can blame or say that Hue has a big ego. I think Hue is doing this because to me, he was embarrassed on Sunday. Look, Im not a Raiders fan like Salsa but from what I saw of the game, they didnt even show up with that poor tackling and all they had to do was win at home.

His ego is more about what he THINKS he is gonna do when it comes to player moves and decision for next year. He was a getting a little too power. I saw why he needed to pull off the Palmer trade...the team had no choice. But there some players Hue likes too much and need to go.

Oh. You know I would really question the players because they did a horrible job Sunday. I mean they had the AFC West giftwrapped and blew it. I would think Raider Nation wasnt very happy Sunday.

Pissed. As I said, the defense has too many talented INDIVIDUALS to not be a good TEAM. That falls on the coaches...and especially Bresna-useless. I wanted that worthless dog excrement arresteed for impersonating a football coach, a month into the season. The rumor is the Raiders would like Jack Del Rio.

Peyton needs to see the big picture that the Polians did not have the team prepared for if & when he was injured. If he wants to be a "Brett Favre" about it...... Dude, you were hurt & your team fell apart completely. Suck it up & help prepare Andrew Luck for when you do retire,or you can just sit & pout,& demand that the Colts trade you, either way the future is with Andrew Luck.

NINE consecutive seasons of 10 or more wins, then 1 bad year without your star QB, and you off your GM? Irsay is completely mad. The Indianapolis Colts will regret this move for years to come.

Maybe that's the reason, the year Manning goes out and the team is pathetic just because of him not being there. Brady goes out and they have a winning record. Also bring Collins in might have something to do with it also.

New England is an exception, not the rule. Take Brees away from New Orleans and they're not the same. Neither are most teams if losing a star QB.

And besides, the offense wasn't the only thing wrong with the team this year. The defense was lousy as well.

And their defense was bad last year, they should of fixed that this year.
