The below is from an NFL blog, those that don't go find a reason to be authorized to not be there, like injury. Pretty sure after almost 20 weeks even if they haven't played since the end of the season that there's still plenty wrong with many football players.

Pro Bowl players are subject to fines if they fail to attend team meetings, practices, or photo day without receiving approval for an unauthorized absence from the NFL’s Football Operations department.
The Pro Bowl fine schedule for unauthorized absences is as follows:
Late for team meeting: $500
Late for team practice: $500
Late for team photo: $500
Missed team meeting: $2,000
Missed team practice: $2,000
Missed team photo: $2,000

Note: All fine amounts are doubled for repeat offenses. All other fine amounts remain the same for on-field discipline.

Even if your injured, you dont have to play. Just go there and enjoy yourself!!

Not saying Tebow should have gone, but Rivers sure as hell should not have gone. He has sucked this year!

Instead of Tebow or Rivers, what about Andy Dalton from Cincinatti? Did he make the Pro Bowl? If he didnt, he should because he had a good year, right? No?

Whether right or wrong, you've got to put your time in to be recognized. Unless you are head and shoulders above the competition, the proven name will get in based on history. Rivers is a proven name.

Peyton Hillis now believes in the Madden Curse: From the Akron Beacon Journal:

“I really didn’t think it would affect me. But I can tell you it’s nagged at me a little bit this year. I can’t argue that.” Hillis added, “Things haven’t worked in my favor this year. There’s a few things that happened this year that make me believe in curses.

The good ole Rex Ryan....he is a stitch! FIRST he says, "There’s no way that we’re looking to replace Mark Sanchez,” to ESPN Radio. But then the question was about Sanchez and Manning, and he said: “If they were both out there and you were starting a draft, I would take . . . Would you take Peyton Manning? Yeah, I’d take Peyton Manning over anybody. I’m not telling that lie. Of course, I would take him. But right now, when you’re looking at our football team and our franchise, obviously we feel great about our quarterback situation"

LMAO! IF the Colts do not stick with Manning...IMHO, he will be a JET next year.

EVEN in parity SIs preview into 2012, they think this:

Feb. 28: The Colts, owners of the No. 1 pick, meet with Peyton Manning to discuss the future. Owner Jim Irsay offers to pay Manning his $28 million roster bonus and keep the four-time MVP on the team with the obvious first pick, Andrew Luck. But as soon as Irsay says it, everybody realizes how absurd this is and they all bust out laughing. Why pay that much money so Manning and Luck can play together on a lousy Colts team? If the 35-year-old Manning can really play another five years, as he surely wants to, he'll have to finish his career somewhere else anyway.

In a joint press conference, Manning and Irsay announce they will part ways. This leads to ...

March 25: Manning signs a free-agent contract with ...

... with ...

... with ...

Hint: J-E ...

Might we see Rex Ryan (left) and Peyton Manning join forces on the 2012 Jets?
Reuters - Yes, the Jets. Manning realizes he has all the money he needs, so he takes a below-market deal to play for the Jets. Meanwhile, the Jets finally realize that Mark Sanchez's dating ability far exceeds his playing ability. This is their chance to upstage the two teams that bug them the most: the Giants, who suddenly find themselves with the less famous Manning brother, and the Patriots. Yup: Rex Ryan gets Peyton Manning for his matchups against Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

What would you expect him to say? A top 10 QB of all time vs. Mark Sanchez? Of COURSE any person in their right mind would take Manning over Sanchez.

And what happens if all of the "golden" junior QB's don't come out this upcoming draft(no Luck,no RGIII,no Landry Jones),what are the Jets & Colts gonna do,trade QB's?

Exactly. So much of this is just speculation right now. The reporters must by bored, so they're making their own story lines right now.

That answer, is the one you give AFTER the season is done...not when you are fighting for your playoff lives and kill the confidence of your present QB.

I don't think even Sanchez would think he's better than Peyton Manning.

And besides, if your QB is too fragile to handle the truth, he shouldn't be a QB in this league.

Hmmm....pretty much what I said last month when Elway commented about not being sold on Tebow.
