Five steelers made the pro bowl. Starters are Troy, Pouncy and Wallace. Big Ben is the #2 QB and Brown is the kick returner.

IMO the probowl is a joke no matter who goes......

I agree.

Anymore you can be the 5th or 6th best at your position (on both sides AFC and NFC ) and still go as they take sooo many and when someone is OUT, another that may or may not be worthy of makes it.

Also don't forget, who ever ends up in the SB, is NOT eligible .... how great is THAT ?

Yep. I know we've said this before but they need to make the probowl a recognition type of thing and eliminate the game. Similar to best offensive and defensive player awards. The probowl used to mean something but that hasn't been the case for a long time now.

Whens the last time you guys watched the Pro Bowl with actual interest ?

Me, 10-15 years ago.

Never cared for the pro bowl. And what's stupid is that they moved it to the week before the SB just so it can get higher ratings. What if a player that's on a SB team gets injured in the PB and all of a sudden he can't play in the SB? That SB team would then get SCREWED.

About 15 years. I remember even longer ago when the players cared about this game and both conferences would go at each other. They no longer care so why should we ;)

SB contestants are ineligible to play in the pro bowl.

Actually,I think that having both the Saints & the Patriots in the Super Bowl will make for an exciting game. No disrespect to the Packers, but I think that both the Saints & Patriots have more offensive weapons & the Super Bowl will be a real shoot out with them in it.

I would LOVE to see the Saints and Packers on a neutral field. Unfortunately, that will never happen though. :(

Players in the SB that get voted in to the PB don't play for this very reason.

The last time I enjoyed the All Star game was when the All Stars played the college All Stars in the first game of the year each season. Most of you on this board probably don't even remember that game.
