If Manning is 100% healthy and ready to play, it's a tough decision. If he's not, it's easy. You let him go. Professional sports are a business and you can't pay older players that much money for past glory. Successful franchises know this and that's why they are successful.

If I were a betting man, I would say that Peyton is fine for the start of next years games.

Your call, what ya gonna do........... in April ?

I would trade Luck if my team is either St. Louis or Minnesota and I will tell you why. If you are Minnesota, you get Luck...and maybe that team makes the the playoffs. They have other needs... I do not know them, I am sure Ice does better than I do. IF they didn't, they would be alot closer to the playoffs than just 2 or 3 wins as they stand now. By trading Luck/#1 pick, you more than likely get at least 2 #1s and maybe a couple of #2s from what I read. With a 2nd year of Ponder, healthy Adrian Peterson and 4 possible picks in the 1st 2 rounds, that team, if they draft right, could overtake the Lions as the 2nd best team in that division.

St. Louis, they are much worse off and I am very sure that Luck in that team will not make the playoffs. Plus, Bradford is the last high drafted QB that got huge dollars, so you HAVE TO stay commited to him because of all the money you invested in him. Now, add a healthy Bradford, Steven Jackson and 4 picks in the 1st 2 rounds and suddenly they could become drastically better, maybe fight for a playoff spot.

And with Barkley announcing he is staying for another year, it just about guarentees 2 #1s and 2 #2s...at the very least.

Oh No you don't !!!

The Lions JUST got to the #2 spot and had the Packers not suddenly got great in the last 2 years, they could have 1st place !!!!

That said, I wouldn't give up 2 1st round AND 2 2nd round picks for Luck.

Now if some one was dumb enough to give it to me then YES, take it.

If you actually read one of my earlier posts you would have seen that the Colts have until March 8 to make up their minds. That's well before the draft. As for Manning's health, I'm confident you are not his physician or someone who has access to his medical records, so that's just conjecture.

I did read that post, so OK, the draft isn't till April, you'll know ahead of time.

I never said I was Peytons doctor, I gave a Hypothetical question and you responded the way do did ....
It's been a hypothetical question all along as NO ONE knows for sure.

So when I asked you what you would do if Peyton was healthy, you never answered.

I am curious to see what people think about this choice they have.

After starting the season 0-13, the Colts have won their last two games.

Is their new motto: "It's better to be good than Luck" ?

There are plenty of desperate teams that need QBs: Redskins, Dolphins, Sea-chickens and the Colts.

The Vikings are a couple DBs away from having one of the best defenses in the NFL. They have one of the top 2 or best RBs in the NFL. They have a pretty good d-line. I do not know much about their LBs. To me, they are close than people think.

I'm thinking the draft will go this way

1. Colts (or whoever trades to this spot) - Andrew Luck

2. Rams - Justin Blackmon

3. Vikings - Morris Claiborne

I think that the St. Louis Rams will end up with the number 1 draft pick because the Colts will beat the Jaguars next week & it is really, really,REALLY asking a lot for the Vikings to lose to the Redskins & a now rudderless Bears team.

If the Lions could shore up thier secondary, thet would improve them GREATLY as well, to go along with thier D Line.
For that matter the Steelers REALLY need to shore up thier secondary, but they have needed to do that for 10 years now.
