Well it was.

Thomas is a first round pick (before Dez Bryant, even) coming back from injuries, and Decker is an excellent 3rd round pick.

Eddie Royal is great when he's not injured.

They had no problems catching balls thrown by Orton.

You could tell. I mean they lead the team to an outstanding 1 win this season with him, and an amazing 4 wins all of last season...

And i didnt think you were hostile either. Dont mind the heavy hands.

uh-huh, you were a fan then......

It was all the WR fault that we lost all those games.....OK :up

Like I said, they caught passes from Orton, for some reason it's the passes from Tebow that have been an issue. I don't know why that is.

Tebow can do wrong and I have pointed out every time he makes mistakes. But I do know with a solid WR core at FLA he was passing above 65%. He did not just all of a sudden become a bad passer.

I do also agree with your point that their timing together is off. No off season, and taking over part way through the season is tough and Thomas and Decker both show signs of light so we will see how it works out next year. Should be fun.

You don't have timing yet after 9 weeks ?

We might as well make our season on Saturday by freezing Tebow in chilly Orchard Park.

Tebow the Almighty's gonna be shivering in Buffalo.

FEAR THE BILLS ONE LAST TIME!

THIS IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT TO SALVAGE OUR SEASON!

Temp for Buffalo next Saturday is 35*

I'm sure they have practiced in that type of weather, lows for Denver is around 15*m this time of year, high around 40ish, I doubt weather will determine the outcome of this game.

Very hard for WRs to adjust to a spread option style attack. As the passes are not "anticipation" passes like the NFL style WRs are used to but instead sight based. Where as say Brady will throw the ball where the thinks the receiver is on the route. (the timing) to know his WRs. With Tebow and the spread style option the QB even in the pass formation is looking at the other options and not waiting for a receiver to get in a spot but rather become open. Tebow is not a pro-style passer he is a sight passer.

Where as Most NFL Qbs are anticipation passers and like today Brady over threw 85 by a long shot because he was thinking he was going to run the straight route, but cut back instead. So while it was not a bad throw by Brady per say as he threw the route, his receiver had stopped and came back and was wide open.

The timing comes into play when the receivers are not used to this style of play and while they are expecting things to happen at certain points in the routes often times Tebow holds back or throws to fast when he sees the opening. Not when the route is at its pass point.

Opposite spin on the ball may be an issue initially ...

Ortons a Righty ...

That said, Tebow is not the most accurate guy, that can make all the difference in the world, where is the ball when the wr is about to catch it, high, low, behind him, ahead of him, at his hands.
Is he getting the ball coming out of traffic or going into it.

Nice explanation :)

If Miami had not won the AFC East in that Cinderella year of 2008, we'd be looking at 9 straight division titles for the Pats (and that would have been the case if Miami lost in the last week of that '08 season.

if brady doesn't get injured i'm sure it would've been theirs

See i don't think he is because you know he is going to run the ball 90% of the time if he doesn't hand it off to another runner. All they mainly do is run.

Reminds me of how "one dimensional & 'boring'" O.J. Simpson(before he murdered his wife) was when he carried the ball 100% during the year he ran over 2000 yards,& they didn't use the Wildcat back then either. Back then, the good teams ran(ball control) & the bad teams threw the ball.

The NFL is totally different than college. You can be a great passer in college and then move to the NFL and become on of the worst ones. It happens all of the time.

Some of that is Tebows fault, and a combination of them getting used to a new QB, style of throw, timing, etc.

You know nothing about our WR's except your own bias that Tebow can do no wrong.

Did you see dropped passes today?

Phil Simms said that he thought that Tebow was purposely overthrowing most of his passes to keep the Patriots from getting an interception.
