2011-12 NFL Season

Just took a quick look, seeing the media was all over Cam Newton at the beginning of the season.

Newton is progressing nicely in the passing completion dept. he's up to 59.7, from about 52 earlier.

That said, they are not very good ...

By comparison, Tebow is about 48% and was no better last year.

He hasen't proven it to me yet. How many great or good QB's only have a 48% completion rate? There have been many average QB's that have played with bad receivers and have proven they can throw the ball better than Tebow.

In their first 8 games as a starter? I am sure you will find many.

Only 3 teams have beat the Pats all year.. Why should the broncos be any different. They are still in it to win it baby!! TEBOW TO THE SUPERBOWL!

It would be amazing for them to make it to the SB ....

They would have to more than likely get by the Steelers, Ravens and Pats to do it.
Or at least 2 of the 3

Happy wading ....

And you will find more that failed. Give the poor guy a break and quit putting him on such a pedestal before he accomplishes anything. I actually feel bad for the guy with all the pressure the kool aid drinking fans are putting on him.

I am not putting any pressure on him. I know exactly what he can do. Saw it for 5 years. Heck I was not even expecting what he has done so far, if you read my first posts I was just excited thinking they might finish with a winning record. Now we are talking playoffs.. He has already done more then I thought was possible with this Broncos team.

Get him some help on offense during the draft/free agency and work on that secondary a bit (its aging and slowing) and they will be a force.

Thats because there is way more to a QB then passing %. Specially when you have one of the weakest receiving cores in the league and no TE's worth mentioning.

He is a great QB because no just his ability but his attitude. He is exactly what a team needs.

This is crap. Come back when you know more about it.

Not so fun a game today.

Those three turnovers IN A ROW right before the half just killed it. THat, and the blown coverages on the tight ends in the middle of the field. And the stupid penalties on 3rd down that extended drives.

It was a VERY EXCITING start. The stadium was rocking, but when you give Brady & Co. 13 points, it's gonna be tough to hang tight. (They don't need the help!) The team had it in them, but they gave it away today, and we didn't get to see what they could really do.

They said Pats had possession 30 minutes to 15 for Denver, in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th qtrs. They had 30 more plays, and 200+ more yards......

when I see them not drop passes every single game that cost scores I will say otherwise.

Some of that is Tebows fault, and a combination of them getting used to a new QB, style of throw, timing, etc.

You know nothing about our WR's except your own bias that Tebow can do no wrong.

Did you see dropped passes today?

Tebow can do wrong and I have pointed out every time he makes mistakes. But I do know with a solid WR core at FLA he was passing above 65%. He did not just all of a sudden become a bad passer.

I do also agree with your point that their timing together is off. No off season, and taking over part way through the season is tough and Thomas and Decker both show signs of light so we will see how it works out next year. Should be fun.

We might as well make our season on Saturday by freezing Tebow in chilly Orchard Park.

Tebow the Almighty's gonna be shivering in Buffalo.

FEAR THE BILLS ONE LAST TIME!

THIS IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT TO SALVAGE OUR SEASON!
