2010 NCAA Football Season

Rich Rodriguez pictured on the Michigan sideline after posting yet another embarrassing loss. This latest failure drops drops his Big Ten record to a dismal 4-16. Give me an F...give me an I...give me an R-E-D. What does that spell? FIRED! Tomorrow morning, please. :up :up

There is no way the University can keep this schmoe in place to lose-out the reminder of yet another season.

Was telling the wife last night that after ND, MSU, and UM all lost yesterday, we just MAY want to remove the tOSU paraphernalia (decals, plates, etc.) from the car before heading up to MI this week. Rubbing salt in open wounds is not all that sporting. :D

The local ABC station had the OSU game on; however, they switched to the USC game when tOSU was up 52-something, and she was upset. True Buckeye from birth, she is. :)

That said, the Bucks last part of the schedule is tougher than the current , I think.
Yeah, yall will come up some as the last part of the season progresses. We will too assuming we win out. We have three top 25 teams left to play out of four games. #12 LSU, #23 MSU, and #3 Auburn. Should be interesting.

Having not watched too much of Auburn, how's thier D ?

Oregon still has Oregon State on the schedule yet.

Their D is not that great, but can be solid if need be.
The main thing with auburn is simply Cam Newton. If someone can take him out of the picture, they are very beatable. Nobody has really done that yet though and here they are.
He is damn impressive.

I guess after yesterday you could now say - It's all about the U-VA!! LOL
To be honest had Harris still been in that game I think he would have hurt the team more by throwing more INT's. Either way I don't think he or Morris have enough to help them finish out the rest of the season with a win against another VA team soon to be played.

On other notes.... I was amazed to see so many upsets all weekend starting with the dismantle process of FSU by NCSt... what a way to start the weekend!

You are ASSUMING. The U going into yesterday, controlled their destiny, now...they need a little help. But it ALL depends in Harris. One thing for sure, this kid Morris has some MOXY and he showed some composure yesterday. But VaTech has to win AT UNC need to win HERE in Miami. The U's is not completely out of it for playing in the ACC championship....but they need some help.

Need alot of help, I don't believe it would be Miami's best interest to not throw the ball much. VT has some guys in the secondary that are tearing up those INT's (VT leads the nation at 198 total since record keeping). Lets put it this way, I do believe VT will win at least 3 of these next 4 games and I'm hoping for the 4th. Now lets put it on the table here, VT has GT at home on this thursday night so it should be a good VT victory even if it rains. VT goes away for next two games cept one of them is a revenge game from last year and I'm sure Ryan Williams would love to redeem himself from that game ending fumble he did against UNC so I'm lookin at VT winning this one as well. Jumping ahead a second here we have UVA at home and watching them play Miami they looked good but not great but I'm willing to say they beat UVA worse than beating GT. So that's 3 games and Miami needs VT to lose two so even if Miami can some how stop VT's offense a 20x better Offense than UVA has then its all over with for the U at home with VT pulling off its 10 win's once again and playing in the ACCCG and perhaps pushing its poll spot well up near #10 once again.

Ok...now some basic stuff. Jacory Harris only has a mild concussion..and could be ready to go. If not, our true freshman Morris will be ready to go. IF Miami wins out...all VAtech needs is one loss other than The U game and The U has the tiebreaker.

That Oregon offense is incredibly exciting to watch. You can't look away for one second or you'll miss something big. Wow!

Found this pretty interesting. The last column is current strength of schedule. Oregon is at 101, well below Boise and TCU, yet they're getting all this love from the prognosticators. A little bias maybe? :)

Rivals.com College Football - Oregon jumps Auburn for top spot in BCS

1. Oregon 101st
2. Auburn 9th
3. TCU 72nd
4. Boise St. 78th
5. Utah 117th
6. Alabama 74th
7. Nebraska 28th
8. Oklahoma T-44th
9. Wisconsin T-56th
10. LSU 12th
11. Ohio State 71st
12. Missouri 3rd
13. Stanford 76th
14. Michigan St. 18th

I have to admit, Morris showed some good moves and plays torwards the end of the game and he looked better than Harris has on a good day. I don't believe Miami will win out either, if Maryland shows up it could be a disaster not to mention I think GT will be ready to go on their home turf against the U and a game that is going to be prime time ABC that night! The VT game well, lets just say you and I both think our teams will win.. we just will have to see :)
