2010 NCAA Football Season

Just came back from the excuse machine, let's see what it says...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH The referees robbed us they should not have called pass interference.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH The referees were wearing the same colors as the other team.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH :sob:

Oh wait, sorry, I went to YOUR excuse machine by mistake. You must have left something there by mistake after crying about the Jet game yesterday.

Ohio State? Lost fair and square, against a decent team that is difficult to play against in that stadium at night. It happens, and most Buckeye fans will tell you they were very worried about this game going in.

Sandra

Not a Broncos fan, Honey!

C'mon Sandra, even your sexy Rexy said that it was debatable whether the Jets deserved to win. But of course, he didn't care....

No doubt that was among a number of questionable pass interference calls in the game, but that's not the point. Hart makes a statement about Buckeye fans running to their excuse machine, when he's the first one here crying when something happens on the field that he doesn't like.

I also said the Chiefs got hosed, I guess I have something against the Texans, also.

Has nothing to do with win or loss in the schedule it is the schedule itself.
We have played san jose, penn state, duke, ark, fla, s carolina, and Ole Miss.
LSU has had N Carol, Vandy, Miss State, W Virginia, Tenn, Florida, and McNeese State.
Stanford has had Sacramento state, UCLA, Wake Forest, ND, Oregon, and USC.

Tell me how we rank 73rd and they are 15th and 16th?
Like I said, I would trade schedules to this point with either of them.
Stanford has 11 games against real opponents. Alabama has 10(I counted Duke and WF since they are in the ACC)
Stanford has to play everyone in their conference unlike Alabama as well

I have never understood HOW you do not schedule as many teams as you can within your conference, but have no issues with scheduling plenty of cream puff for your OOC games....

Unfortunately the Pac 12 will have a championship game. Hopefully we don't start scheduling cream puffs on an SEC level. Has Florida ever played a non rivalry(meaning FSU/Miami way back when) OOC game on the road? lol

BCS Poll is out:
BCS standings: Oklahoma, Oregon open in top two spots - USATODAY.com

1 - Oklahoma
2 - Oregon
3 - Boise St.
4 - Auburn
5 - TCU
6 - LSU
7 - Michigan St.
8 - Alabama
9 - Utah
10 - Ohio St.

Huh? I was guaranteed last week that BSu was gonna be #1 in the ranking?????? WTF is going on? We all know its a conspiracy for those east coast teams.

PS: For anyone who looks at an atlas and says that Oklahoma is not on the east coast, I would just like to ask you, "who are you going to believe - the tin hat crowd or your lying eyes?" :D

They played Ohio State in Arizona in 2006 and destroyed them. They went to Miami in 2008 to play Oklahoma and destroyed(hey you didnt say they had to leave the state). then they went to LA to play Cincy and destroyed them.

That of course was only the last few years.

Stanford plays Sacramento State & Notre Dame. Are you counting those two as "real games" or was just one counted? Hell, even Michigan beat ND! Also, better check out the conference to make sure you want to brag about playing all of them. 3-3 against packed schedules is nothing to brag about and looks like most of the PAC10 is 3-3 at this time, at best.

As for Alabama, I for one am glad they are taking one of their playdates for a team that is new this year. As a favor to Bill Curry, UA scheduled Ga State Univ in their first season of having a football team on a NCAA level. The Panthers are doing pretty well against some teams I thought for sure they would have lost to, but the game with Alabama will be something those kids will remember the rest of their lives. BTW, the Ga State vs Alabama game will be on ESPNU-HD for nationwide live broadcast. If Alabama wasn't kind enough to schedule them, they would never make national TV. :D <- Must-See TV

Well that argument would make sense if LSU was not ranked above stanford with a similar schedule to Alabama......

Funny that the in conference argument is used here against an SEC team whereas every time we use it, the OOC schedule is used against us. I guess we whould have scheduled Wash State instead of San Jose, since they count as a "real" oponent. That would give us 11 "real" opponents as well. ;)
