2010 NCAA Football Season

Its talked as if he will be out till the Arkansas game... and I still think Penn St beats them either way.

Off-Topic.. Anyone here from around the DC area? I need of a great place to Tailgate near FedEx Field since their lame ass lots won't be opened till 4pm.... I'm going up around 9am and want to tailgate with a bunch of friends and other fans for the whole day.

The Penn State game will be good, and I see us losing a game, however Penn State has too many question marks, with or without Ingram. (it wont be arkansas either, no defense)

I see it as a mid season, oh crap how did that happen, game.

Not sure I like the uniforms to be used Monday... might be bad luck here.

Virginia Tech To Wear Black Jersey Against Boise State

It had something to do with him transferring to a school that did or did not offer the field that he was majoring in. I am not totally sure, as I did not keep up with it. I will try to find out.

I do not think that is the problem with the NCAA clearing him though, but again, I am not too sure.

Then you have to ask the obvious question,
WHY would he chose a school that doesn't have what he wants academically ?

Football. Thats pretty much it. He would have taken basket weaving if a school would have given him a chance to play after what happened.

Again, I am not totally sure what the circumstances were, but I am about to find out.

Finally, Jeremiah Masoli is a Rebel. Now what? - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF* - Yahoo! Sports

He'll be eligible to play immediately this season under an NCAA waiver for graduate students. After earning an undergraduate degree in sociology from Oregon earlier this month, Masoli plans to enroll in Ole Miss' graduate Parks and Recreation program, apparently in hopes of becoming the next Ron Swanson.

This was before what is happening now.
I think what it was is the graduate school program had to be something not offered at Oregon.

The Tide won't be rolling over or "devouring" anyone without their starting RB.

I wouldnt say that.;)

Again, I dont buy it, but many have been saying, even last year, that Ingram was not the best back on the team. I think he is, but Richardson has comparable talent. Texas can attest to that.
The two are fairly interchangable, and the drop off in talent behind those two is not tremendous. Until he is back, they will be fine.

Just ask Georgia how well black jerseys work. I believe Alabama was up 31-0 at the half in that game.
Then they tried black helmets against Florida the following year.

After those games, I don't believe Athens will ever see another black jersey or helmet again.

Yeah, I was watching the Bama game at a bar in Orange Beach, several Georgia fans talking about the black jerseys and such before kickoff.

I had alot of fun with that after the game. The blackout is done in Athens.

They will still do blackout I am sure but much less. First off the Florida games is played in Jacksonville and not Athens. As for the Bama game that was about as perfect of a half of football I ever saw. Everything went right for Bama and UGA made some stupid mistakes.

Besides its a new year so who knows what will happen. Much of Georgia's season will be based on the Defense and the play of Aaron Murray. If he is the QB that everyone says all should be good. Defense has a new coordinator so who knows.

All I know is they play the ULL Rajin Cajuns Saturday on SEC Network and thanks the Directv Sportspack and ESPN Gameplan I can watch here in Minnesota in HD on MSG.

Just when you thought the VPI Turkeys couldn't be any uglier, they go to THAT.

It's never good when Boise St.'s colors will look better.

Well the thing is many teams are going to do this on certain games...

The University of Alabama, Boise State University, University of Florida, University of Miami (FL), The Ohio State University, Oregon State University, University of Pittsburgh, Texas Christian University, Virginia Tech and West Virginia University will wear the innovative designs for a minimum of one game on their schedules. The dates of those games will be announced at the unveiling of the uniforms Sept. 1 in New York.

So you will pretty much find out today what games are they exactly going to be used..but we know VT will use them on Monday's game and I believe Alabama will use them on their opening game as well.

Yeah, it was a flawless half. I loved it:D

I hope they have a good year. Always liked the Georgia program.

Lord, I hope Bama gets them out of the way. I hate that we are doing that.

The uniforms are bad ass by the way they are made, can't say I like the color but very light weight and durable!! So maybe this will be a good thing for the team to use... keep in mind Boise st comes from a western Mountain area with hardly no humidity - Virginia is a humid place!! Mid 80's during the day on monday with 70's expected throughout with max humidity of around 56%!! We are used to playing in this, they are not.

The material and such is not the problem. I just generally hate the color schemes and the way they make them look in most cases.

Make us a traditional uniform in the same form and I am for it.

Well just saw the bama version. Pretty traditional.
Main difference is a slight houndstooth pattern in the numbers and in the white stripe on the helmet. They will wear them against Mississippi state
