I didn't cook them first, and I left out the ricotta cheese at HIFI's request. He says it's like cottage cheese to him and he hates cottage cheese. I have to admit, I have a terrible time with anything pasta, because that's all my real mom ever could fix for us. Every other weekend it was Pizza Hut on Friday night, spaghetti on Saturday, and lasagna on Sunday before we went home. I can't stand spaghetti and lasagna. HIFI loves them. Mine turned out pretty good. We won't be having it once a week or anything, but at least I know I can make it and not screw it up.
Very cool Mallory. I'm glad it worked out well and HiFi liked it, although I can't imagine lasagna without ricotta cheese. I absolutely hate cottage cheese but ricotta is an entirely different animal.
.) Anyway, used it last night to make chicken and steak. It's great, but I am ready to grill outside. So, if HIFI gets home at a decent time tonight, I might try to persuade him to go buy a new grill. If not, I'll be getting the camping grill out and cleaning it up to use until HIFI is persuaded.
