Vip622 issue

I have a Vip622 from Dish Network. I have been having a very strange problem lately. It has been recording random TV shows that I did not ask it to record. Also, shows that I ask it to record are disappearing. Has anyone else ever had this issue?

Have you done a hard reboot in a while (pull the plug)? It's always a good idea now and then, especially after software upgrades. Remember, at the core, it's just another computer that can go awry. "Reboot".

Check your schedule listing. There may be some programs that are scheduled to record daily, all episodes, new episodes.

I think he has a neighbor who recently installed DishNetwork.

I have done the hard reboot a couple of times. I guess I will have to call Dish.
