Video Game Deals

If you like to buy new games, you should REALLY consider getting a Gamers Club Unlocked membership. It's $30 for 2 years and you get 20% off ALL games (and can be used in conjunction with sales), added points from games, and more value for trade-ins. And Best Buy has new sales at least every week.

Speaking of Best Buy, they have a sale on The Witcher 3 for Xbox One. $20, or $16 if you have GCU. And just a reminder, The Witcher 3 holds the record for most GOTY awards ever.

I guess I should think about signing up. When you get 2 years for $30 it wouldn't take long to make that up. The reason I haven't is because most of the games I buy are on PC and I can already use GMG's promo codes to get 20% off those games without having to wait for a physical product to ship. Plus I am a Amazon Prime member so I can get 20% off pre-orders through them.

The only benefit I would get from Gamers Club is the extra 20% off games that have already been out for a while during Best Buy's sales. Amazon already matches Best Buy's sale prices but their extra 20% is only good in the first 2 weeks after a game launches.

You can get an Xbox One controller which comes with a PC Cable for $40 from Amazon.

Nice. To be clear though any Xbox One controller can be used on PC. All you need is a USB cable or the $25 wireless dongle. It should be noted that the cable that comes in that package is only 9 inches long so most people are probably going to need to buy their own USB cable anyways.

Edit: A reviewer further down the page cleared the cable length issue up. The Amazon listing does say that the cable is 9 inches long in more than one place but one of the reviewers confirmed that it is actually 9 feet long.

That's a misprint. It's 9 feet. I can attest to this because I own the same set and it is a LONG cable.

Another pretty good month. I don't care about Goat Simulator but the rest of th games are solid.

They are running another Ubisoft Humble Bundle. There is some good stuff here but I own every single game listed.

Gamestop is running a sale on PC games.

PSN is having a pretty big sale.

Edit: Battleborn is already $35.99 on GMG or you can get the premium edition that includes the season pass for $44.99. That is before the 20% off promo code that brings the game down to $28.80 or game and season pass to $36.00. Guess this one wasn't selling well.

Well the Ubisoft sale is an encore sale. It's the same sale as last time. Battleborn was reduced to $40 recently, which many feel was done to compete directly with Overwatch. Still not sure why these 2 games feel the need to compete as they're quite different IMO.

Edit: Random Note.. The Last of Us for PS3 is $10.. and I think that's the STANDARD price. If anyone hasn't played it and still has their PS3 lying around you may as well get it. I mean I have my issues with it but $10 can't be beat.

Overwatch Origins Edition has been discounted for everyone down to $48.99 on Amazon. This must have been where that $12 refund for the pre-order low price guarantee came from. It looks like Prime members get it for $47.99 now. I guess those of us who pre-ordered lucked out because we got 20% off the full price and this $12 refund bringing the total down to $36.00

You can get 30% off everything in the Origin store with promo code ORIGIN30. They have also added some more games to the Origin Access vault including the Mass Effect Trilogy.
