I have the 211 and receive the NY Distant HD nets on 6300, 6301, 6302, & 6303. Try changing your guide to all channels, instead of your favorites and they should be available. This is on the 61.5 dish.

. I've been going crazy this morning and at one point was actually trying to cancel my Dish account until I heard about people getting the NY nets in HD as distants. Does anyone know if this is just a temporary fluke or are the HD DNS going to be available to all subs currently getting SD DNS?The 211 route is tempting but I was told by a CSR this morning that if I upgrade my 811(deactivated) for a 211 for $49 now, I can't upgrade my 942 for a 622 for at least a year.
What I'm wondering is if since there don't appear to be any 622s available now anyway, can subs get a 211 now and roll that into a 622 when they do become available?
Walt, the HD NY locals are in the same "tier package" in the system information as the SD NY locals, so I would say this is legit and not a fluke.

Totally incorrect; since you got the responsibility to INFORM ppl, you should use correct definitions.
The particular channels encoded in MPEG-2 and AVAILABLE for new line of receivers: 211, 411, 622.
BTW, is someone know what the codename of the line ?

Tier codes have been changed on the HD Locals/distants. Don't know the effect of the change.

well like I said in another post..I had Fox HD (6303) but now it's gone..but who knows it might come back
The NYC and LA HD channels are supossedly only for local consumption at this time. No other info available right now.

I also had 6300-6303 this morning but tonight they are gone . I live in upstate NY. I pray they come back but don't hold much hope at this point. They probably wiped them out on anyone outside the NY DMA... Gerry
