Uplink Activity for Tuesday January 31st 2006

Email Address?

Could someone please give me the email address for the CEO? I can't remember whether it's @dishnetwork or @echostar.com.. Thanks.. Dish had an opportunity here to provide their high paying rural subs with the benefit of HD networks and decided not to. From what I read under the FCC rules, the analog model is in place and if you have current analog distants with all your waivers then there is no reason that they cannot provide the 6300-6303 channels to you. This is probably going to be the last straw in my relationship with dish and I want to tell them so... Gerry

New beta software for the 622 spooled today. Firmware ACT1, which is available to ALL 622s (no longer a list of beta receiver numbers). Maybe they are finally ready to release production software for their 622 which launched yesterday :).

Ouch that really blows on turning of the Distants.

Dish is screwing over those folks again when they don't have to. Dish has every right to provide HD distants to those with SD distants, geniuses....

Whats up with HMC? Is it availble to more subs?

it moved from tp18 to tp14, but since bob does the remove/add thing and not the owrd move, it didn't show up that way,

moving some GA PBS stuff I see, wonder if that means Atlanta HD-LIL is coming soon??:)

Keep in mind that all those Georgia PBS stations are actualy all mirrors of the Atlanta mothership. There was actually only one station that moved. All the others are mirrors.

See ya
Tony

So no Atlanta HD-LIL anytime soon?? Wasn't it on the list??

I don't kow anymore it's like I'm lost after all the wills and won'ts but, I have my 211 coming guess I'll just hold on and wait.
