Correct me if I am wrong, the iPod touch is still the same device, NO hardware updgrade right? I ask because my kid is begging for one for his birthday, and I don't want to buy him the "old generation" device if I can avoid it.

Nah, my brother just busted out his drodid bionic and it took him less then 2 seconds, also my droid 3 and bionic do 1080p video, sorry apple, but this song and dance is getting old fast...same phone new chip due in FEB...I have a dual core now...

man I am liking this 4S... its so good that IF they announce an iPhone 5 I might not even want it... So if they announce an iPhone 5 it beter make me say wow.
gotta admit siri is amazing, BUT not enough, I think this overall was not good for apple, sorry. I am a HUGE fan of there stuff, but today didnt impress me.

okay siri is blowing my mind with checking the calender, and then adding a appointment all on its own!
I am sure google will match siri, but I dont think it will be as smooth as apple, I have to say for the first time Apple has invented something amazing, not just made something better.

that article compares it to searching by voice, this thing is more like james the assistant from iron man then just searching.

Pricing for the 4S will be $199, $299, $399 for 16, 32, 64 GB.
Think about if the "free" phone on a carrier is now an iPhone 3GS. And a $99 iPhone 4 is a good deal for folks who don't want more.
