The Following

Really good episode and nice setup for next week. Looks like Joe is growing impatient with Roderick.
other way around too. Roderick was used to being in charge, and isn't liking not being in charge, especially when he did all the work. I'm thinking some conflict is coming.

Makes you wonder if Roderick is going to be around very long, and if he goes, how many will go with him?

Perhaps a second season can explore the image and expectations of the followers vs what Joe has in mind. Being in prison had its advantages for building up his image and mystique. He could be the great and powerful OZ that is anything one can imagine, you cannot be disappointed by his lack of actions while in prison. Now he is out and they really get to see him up close and the stark reality of who he is, is now visible.

It's hard to say how much Joe Carroll was out of the loop being in prison since apparently he had some internet connection to the outside. It will be hard to eliminate Roderick seeing that he is a "public servant" as the local sheriff. If he ends up dead or missing,it will be noticed by many outside of the cult.

The Curse: Monday, 8 April 2013 (9:00 PM ET)

"Ryan finds a follower who may be able to lead the way to Joe Carroll; Agent Weston returns, possibly more affected by his run-in with the cult than anyone realized; Claire and Emma come together for the first time since Joey's abduction."

I have to say last night's ep was one of the best so far. Non-stop suspense. Also loved Claire and Emma's "encounter".

Another solid show. Joe had a bad day, for certain. To be honest, if they did not get Joey, I would have probably stopped watching. But, they got him. Can't believe Jacob was stupid enough to go back to the mansion. Kevin Bacon seems like he was born for the role of Hardy. Can't imagine any one else playing it.

Next Episode: Season 1, Episode 14

"The End is Near": Weston, Parker and Ryan plan to storm the mansion, but Joe has already orchestrated his escape; followers create a diversion at the town evacuation center, causing panic and leading to the abduction of an FBI official.

I just hope that they don't go alternating between Joe having either Joey or Claire, you know, they rescue Claire & then Joe's followers kidnap Joey again,& then vice versa.
