Who do the Angels play in Interleague Play? That could help them, IMO.
Dodgers, of course...
and the NL West. You're right, it could be easy pickin's,

The Dodgers....that's not going to help.
Thank you!! Wow, it's amazing how some people act when your team finally gets its payday from a team that's used to winning. Shows a lot about the fans of those teams..... My team isn't used to being on top. Let us have our fun as this may not last, but I'm hoping it does.
It's not that at all, I think. You gotta understand this year has been a very hard year for Angels fans for reasons that have nothing to do with the season....we're an emotional lot this year. You should see some of the posts at halosheaven.com or angelswin.com! We want to do this to honor Nick Adenhart, we pretty much all feel that anything less than post-season will fall short of honoring that young kid and setting things right at the Big A. Every loss, every time a rookie pitcher even throws two balls to a hitter, the entire stadium groans and every loss feels like we're doomed to fail when we need to win so bad. We ALL stop at the ever-growing memorial in front of the stadium every game. We all take time and let tears fall silently as we read the tributes, WE ALL take pictures every time. We're ALL following the progress of the one kid that survived. We still fill up the stadium every game, but it has as much to do with solidarity as rooting for our team this time...we're there to show that we're still there, you understand?
So, while you're dancing around and happy, we're barely holding on in many ways. That's why Angels fans are so emotional this year, that's why our players are so emotional, not because your team is in first. I like your manager. Washington is a class act. I like your state. My family comes from there. Here in Anaheim....we're playing for something else this year....

*sigh* You Angel fans can't even let us for once have our heyday in the sun. Gee thanks..... It doesn't happen that often to us, but you guys sure like to find a way to suck the wind out of our sails....
Halos beat the Mariners 10-6 with a touchdown and two field goals.

I am liking Palmer a lot. Brian Fuentes finally lived up to the hype last night as well. Kelvim and Vladdy are playing for Rancho this weekend.

My "jury" is still out on Brian. I am hopeful that he is turning his corner...but I am thinking of getting out my collection of vigil candles I used to burn during Frankie's "Nervous Saves"!
I'd be helping you light the candles if I was an Angels fan.
