The AL West 2009

Think about the series between the Angels and Rangers back in August 2006 and you tell me if what the ump did yesterday was still uncalled for... Plus think of what happened to Kinsler when we played the ChiSox last week....

Besides, if the shoe were on the other foot, and Padilla did the same thing to your leadoff hitter, wouldn't you be agreeing with the ump then?

2006 is ancient history! If that battle couldn't be settled by now forget about it.

Kinsler is an exceptional tlaent who plays and keeps his mouth shut. I have no problem with him. If anyone should have been drilled it would be that pyschotic Marlon Byrd (whom I call Milton Bradley, Jr.). His big mouth was directed at Big John on Friday and he SHOULD have been plunked but good for his comments.

Of course I'd be calling out to get Padilla run from the game. But the situation is totally different with Lackey and his first game back. Sometimes LOGIC must come into play when tossing or not tossing someone.

It's his first game back right? How did he do on 5/10 during his rehab stint? Seriously if those two pitches were accidental, then he needs to be sent back to the minors to learn control.

Turn out the lights... the party's over....

The Rangers take the broom to the Angels! That makes 7 wins in a row for us, 4.5 games in 1st!!

Wow, you guys didn't even realize I was talking about the just finished 3 game meeting between the teams when I said that....

Nope. You came off as a conceited fan who has just clinched the AL West.;)

A LOT of that going on around the internet right now. It's ok. Any AL West team that manages to sweep the Angels would be wagging their wieners at the world right now. We're the yard stick. Lackey should not have been thrown out without a warning, especially after an hour and a half delay of game. There seems to be a them with the umps this year of clamping down on the Angels...ever since the Beckett brawl. It's almost like they think our boys are a ticking time bomb...

As far as the Rangers go, they played exemplary ball this weekend and have a right to be proud. Cherish it and throw back a few in memory of it....because it won't happen again! :D They are a hungry team for sure. But we have the hungriest guy in the MLB right now sitting on the sidelines and you know it's killing him to not be playing the game he lives and breathes for. I am one who firmly believes that Vladdy is set to rip it up this year. He's out to prove something and I don't think it has so much to do with it being a contract year as much as a personal challenge for the man.

Our offense has been faltering for a week now. A solid return by Vladdy would be just the thing it needs to re-charge. He's infectious when he's hot. Enjoy yourselves, Rangers fans. Remember...seattle was pretty cocky a couple weeks ago...

Thank you!! Wow, it's amazing how some people act when your team finally gets its payday from a team that's used to winning. Shows a lot about the fans of those teams..... My team isn't used to being on top. Let us have our fun as this may not last, but I'm hoping it does. :)
