Ok, I will admit, some of the non-Ori episodes in season 9 are decent. Just watched Ripple Effect with multiple SG-1s, Martouf, and Fraser. Fun episode,

Funny at Hastings today, they had one of original big box S1 sets for $25 close to a White box for $32.95... I have S1 - S3 in the big boxes...
Beach head was good. And I did not mind The Four Horsemen I and II. In thinking about it, it wasn't until Adria (I think that is her name) comes into the picture that I grew really weary of the "arc."
I also just watched The Return I and II on Atlantis (Season 3), with the return of the Ancients to take back Atlantis and then the replicators. Good episode - but old Jack O'Neill was really starting to show his age in that one. He really looked like somebody who should be behind a desk and not the same guy who was the action hero of sorts for 7 years. I know, I know, we all get old, but that was the first episode where it really showed.
Yup. Not fun, for sure.
I also think in that SG-1 episode (Ripple Effect) that Tapping must have been back from maternity leave or still preggo, as after all the tight clothes they had her in throughout season 8, she was in the most baggy clothes I had ever seen her in 9 seasons.
That had to be a pain to shoot too, Sam talking to Sam talking to Sam.

The Sam talking to Sam talking to Sam was a good laugh for me.

I was watching on Netflix while working out on the elliptical, and somehow it got me pushing the machine much faster than normal. I guess I took some of Cam's angst about his friend and the need to rescue Teal'c seriously and just started revving the machine. It did not hurt that Landry gave this brief rousing speech about how Teal'c is family.... and I just got into it!

This one was very good, for sure. Does not always happen, but when you can get lost inside an episode and forget about the machine you are on, I find I can seriously crank the cardio up.
A bad habit of mine:
When I'm watching a really good movie that I haven't seen before or one of my favorites that I haven't seen in quite awhile, I typically eat twice as much as I usually do (which isn't all that much).

This morning the episode with the destruction of the Prometheus and the Rand/Caledonian war -- good episode, but not the typical stargate ending. Still an enjoyable episode - and I cranked out the calories on the elliptical
It was sad when the Prometheus got blown away...but a good episode, I agree. They should've taken out that satellite as soon as they came out of hyperspace...
Just watched Scourge, the bug episode. Also good. Loved the end "Its movie night!" Teal'c: "Old School?" Cam: "Starship Troopers. Trust me. "
